Understanding back end development
To learn web development means to understand back-end development and, you only need to know two things. Loops and conditionals. Loops are things like lists, table rows, line items, a grid, etc. You have a data set with similar data fields, and you’re just looping through them. Conditionals are simply that. Logical statements that either do one thing, or another. Back-end development is really that simple. Combining loops and conditionals to turn business logic into code is where things can get complicated.
There are two more basic things to understand when programming. Variables and functions. Variables store information. These are pointers in a computer’s memory. Let’s say you want to add the number 1 and 2 together and render the output on the screen.
